These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Yoris services. Please read them carefully before using the platform.

By accessing or using the Yoris website, mobile application, fintech services, logistics services, marketplace features, and related offerings (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration details
  • You must not use Yoris for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

2. Account Registration

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Identity verification (KYC) may be required to access certain services

3. Fintech Services

a. Transactions

  • All transactions are final once confirmed
  • Users must verify recipient details before confirming payments
  • Yoris is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect details entered by users

b. Security

  • Users must protect their PIN, OTP, and credentials
  • Unauthorized transactions must be reported immediately

c. Compliance

Yoris may suspend transactions or accounts to comply with regulatory, KYC, or anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.

4. Logistics Services

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary
  • Users must provide accurate delivery information
  • Yoris is not liable for delays caused by incorrect addresses or force majeure events
  • Packages containing illegal or restricted items are strictly prohibited

5. Marketplace & Business Services

  • Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of product listings
  • Yoris does not guarantee product quality unless explicitly stated
  • Buyer–seller disputes may be mediated by Yoris but remain the responsibility of both parties

6. Fees & Charges

  • Some services may attract transaction fees
  • Applicable fees will be shown before confirmation
  • Yoris reserves the right to modify fees with notice

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Fraud, money laundering, or illegal transactions
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the platform
  • Creating fake or misleading accounts

Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

8. Suspension & Termination

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations

Users may request account closure, subject to outstanding obligations.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Yoris, including logos, designs, text, and software, is the property of Yoris Africa and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • No liability for indirect or consequential damages
  • No responsibility for losses caused by user negligence
  • Service availability is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Yoris harmless from claims, damages, or liabilities arising from misuse of the Services.

12. Privacy

Your use of Yoris is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

13. Changes to These Terms

Yoris may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
